Silver enamel and marcasite pheasant pin

This vintage pheasant pin is made of silver and stamped 925 on the back. The pheasant is a three-dimensional model. The wings are embellished to show the wing feathers the one at the front is encrusted with marcasite’s The body is covered with marcasite as is the tail. The head of the bird is detailed with enamel and it has a red stone eye. The pin fastens with a secure rollover clasp. This is an exceptional piece.
