Gold and sapphire stock pin

This antique Edwardian stock pin is made of gold and stamped 9ct. The mid blue sapphire is set centrally on the gold bar. The stone is claw set and measures 6mm by 5mm and is open backed allowing the stone to shine. The pin closes with a nappy pin type fastening and has a loop to which a safety chain could be attached.
