Gold topaz and seed pearl stock pin

This antique stock pin is made of nine carat gold and stamped 9ct. This pin is from the Edwardian era and is a wonderful example of the workmanship of the time. The topaz gems form the shape of a flower, they are mill grain set and are of a strong blue colour. The stem of the flower finishes in a seed pearl joining the flower. The pin closes with a nappy pin type fastening and there is a loop to which a safety chain could be attached.
