Gold Whip and Stirrup stock pin

This stock pin is made of nine carat gold and stamped 9ct.The pin was made by Alfred James Howe (A.J.H.) who’s stock pins are always of good quality. The straight bar has a stirrup diagonally across it with a hunting whip across the face of the stirrup. The pin fastens with a nappy pin type closure and has a loop to which a safety chain could be attached.
