Mikimoto Silver and pearl stock pin

This stock pin was made by Mikimoto a renowned jeweller from Japan. Mikimoto was the first person to reliably grow cultured pearls. They are still to this day the finest cultured pearls. The pin is made of silver the S mark and the makers mark M inside a shell denotes Mikimoto. There are nine pearls  hanging like fruit from a stylised leaf and branch The sheen on the pearls is wonderful. The pin fastens with a barrel rollover clasp.
