Silver hound stock pin

This vintage stock pin is made of silver and stamped sterling. The makers mark A.J.H. denotes Alfred James Howe a maker of quality jewellery and stock pins in the early 20^th century. The hound is set centrally on the hunting whip this is the only hound I have seen on a whip by this maker so I believe it to be quite rare. The pin fastens with a nappy pin closure.
