Silver marcasite and enamel Pheasant stock pin

This vintage pin is made of silver and stamped 925 fine. The body of the pheasant is enamelled silver in green and brown the head vermillion with a jewelled red eye. The wing feathers are beautifully represented in marcasite’s which sparkle. The tail feathers are in rust colour and black. All the enamel is in good condition and this is just a charming bird.
The pin fastens with a rollover safety clasp and there is a loop to which a safety chain could be attached.
