Gold and silver traditional hunting stock pin

This traditional stock pin is made of nine carat gold and silver and is stamped as such. The maker is Alfred James Howe (A.J.H.) a well-known maker of good quality equestrian stock pins. The pin has a gold horses head in the centre of the hunting whip the shaft being gold and the ends being silver. The pin closes with a secure nappy pin fastening and it has a loop to which a safety chain could be attached.
